HayNeedle sent the wrong one by accident to our house, however, the one we got was better than the copper one! We didn't see it on the website when we were shopping as we were looking specifically for the COPPER or STAINLESS STEEL materials. The catch about the price in this firepit is that it is slightly false advertising. The bowl is not actually COPPER. It is simply COPPER ENAMEL. Not the same thing. First, copper would stand up much better in the weather. Second, if it was real copper, it would be about $600 for this entire firepit! Third, it would be a ton heavier than the bowl. By no means take this as a negative factor, just keep in mind it will not hold up nearly as well as real copper. You should go with the STAINLESS STEEL version of this. It is real stainless steel. Not the best grade, but it'll hold up a lot better. To mention, it's the same price, size, and just as beautiful, if not more than this one. This will guarenteed provide tons of family fun outside, as well as provide the need for a wood burning fireplace outside! When we had our first fire, my brother said, "You couldn't have just a fire pit at a party, it wouldn't be acceptable. But this, this you could! It's like a real fireplace, actually fancier than the real one inside our house!" So have no doubts...no need to take a chance...or worry "Wonder if this is a good one?" Even though it's made in China, get it. You'll be saying the same thing in your head when you have your first fire!
